It is also a good idea to turn on the TV or radio, as the noise can disguise the loud bangs, which could scare them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You might want to create a safe den for them, as this will make them feel comforted. Put their favourite toy or treat in the area and cover it with blankets to hide the fireworks and mask the sound.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If they do become stressed, make sure to comfort them as much as possible by offering them reassurance and lots of cuddles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your dog or cat has a history of panicking on Bonfire Night or this is their first one and you don\u2019t know how they will react, it is a good idea to prepare in case they decide to escape.
