I am the current registered keeper and need to transfer ownership to a new keeper
If you are the current keeper that is re-homing a pet, the guides below show how you can do this in the PetScanner app or online.
Transfer Keepership in App
To transfer your pet to a new keeper in the PetScanner app, simply go to the pet’s profile and tap ‘rehome this pet’. Once the new keeper has completed registration, the pet will be transferred to their account and removed from your account.
Transfer Keepership Online
To transfer your pet to a new keeper online, simply log in to and go to 'my account'. Click 'rehome pet' on the pet you would like to rehome. Once the new keeper has completed registration, the pet will be transferred to their account and removed from your account.
Transfer Keepership in App
To transfer your pet to a new keeper in the PetScanner app, simply go to the pet’s profile and tap ‘rehome this pet’. Once the new keeper has completed registration, the pet will be transferred to their account and removed from your account.
Transfer Keepership Online
To transfer your pet to a new keeper online, please contact us with the microchip number and we will process this for you. We may need to contact you for more information at the point of transfer.
